NRC TO MEET WITH NPPD TO DISCUSS SAFETY PERFORMANCE AT COOPER NUCLEAR STATION |

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with officials of Nebraska Public Power District on Monday June 4 to discuss the results of NRC's annual assessment of safety performance at Cooper Nuclear Station. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Arbor Manor Inn Conference Room, 1617 Central Ave., Auburn, Nebraska. The public is invited to observe the meeting. NRC officials will be available after the meeting to answer questions. A letter sent from NRC Region IV to NPPD, which addresses plant safety performance during the previous year and forms the basis of the meeting discussion, is available from the Region IV Office of Public Affairs.
