ACRS SUBCOMMITTEE TO MEET IN ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND, ON NOVEMBER 1 TO DISCUSS SAFETY RESEARCH PROGRAM The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) has scheduled a meeting of its subcommittee on the agency's safety research program November 1 in Rockville, Maryland. The meeting, which will be open to the public, will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency's Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The subcommittee will discuss the 2001 draft ACRS report to the Commission on the NRC's Safety Research Program and related matters. In addition, it will meet with representatives of the agency's Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research to discuss ongoing and proposed research activities, as needed.
