NOTE TO EDITORS: NRC EXTENDS AD HOC SESSION OF ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards has extended to October 14 its ad hoc subcommittee meeting scheduled for October 10-13 in Rockville, Maryland.

The five-day meeting, which will be open to the public, will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency's Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike. The added session on October 14 will include an 8:30 a.m. to noon discussion of proposed comments and recommendations on the technical merits of the Differing Professional Opinion issues associated with steam generator tube integrity.
