NRC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS TO MEET IN ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND, ON OCTOBER 16 - 17 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards has scheduled a meeting of its subcommittee on fire protection on October 16-17 in Rockville, Maryland. The meeting, which will be open to the public, will be held in Room T-2B1 and Room T-2B3 of the agency's Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike, starting at 8:30 a.m. each day. During the session, the subcommittee will review the draft performance standard for fire protection for light water nuclear reactors, the draft regulatory guide on fire protection for operating nuclear power plants, post-fire safe shutdown circuit analysis, and other fire protection-related issues.
