NRC Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards to Meet in Lisle, Illinois on June 14

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards has scheduled a meeting of its subcommittees on plant operations and fire protection on June 14 in Lisle, Illinois.

The subcommittees will discuss items of mutual interest with the representatives of the agency's Region III Office, including the plant performance review process, challenges associated with the implementation of the revised inspection and assessment programs, and fire protection issues.

The meeting, which will be open to the public, will be held at the NRC's Region III Office, 801 Warrenville Road, Lisle, Illinois, starting at 8:30 a.m.
