NRC NAMES NEW SENIOR RESIDENT INSPECTOR AT CRYSTAL RIVER NUCLEAR POWER PLANT U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials in Atlanta have announced the assignment of James Scott Stewart as the new Senior Resident Inspector at the Crystal River Nuclear Plant in Crystal River, Florida. Before being assigned to Crystal River, Stewart was the Senior Resident Inspector at the Calvert Cliffs nuclear plant in Maryland. Before his Calvert Cliffs assignment, he was a project engineer in the NRC's Region I office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania where he joined the NRC in 1987. He previously worked as a Senior Nuclear Plant Engineer for Westinghouse at the Naval Reactor Facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Stewart has a B.A. degree in chemistry from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and a M.S. degree in nuclear chemistry from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Stewart joins NRC Resident Inspector Steven Sanchez and Office Assistant Gail Sonneville at the Crystal River plant. The NRC inspectors at Crystal River can be reached at 352-795-7677. # |
