No. 00-012 January 14, 2000 NRC Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards to Meet in Clemson, South Carolina, on February 24 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) has scheduled a meeting of its subcommittee on plant license renewal on February 24 in Clemson, South Carolina. The subcommittee will review the NRC's staff resolution issues identified in the agency's Safety Evaluation Report related to the license renewal of Oconee Nuclear Station Units 1, 2 and 3, and related license renewal activities. The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at the Madren Conference Center at Clemson University, Room III and IV, 100 Madren Center Drive, Clemson, South Carolina, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Those who seek additional information or schedule updates about this meeting should contact Noel Dudley, at 301-415-6888.
