NOTE TO EDITORS:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards has scheduled a meeting of its subcommittee on reliability and probabilistic risk assessment on January 21, in Rockville, Maryland.
The subcommittee will meet at 1:00 p.m. in Room T-2B3 of the NRC's Two White Flint North Building at 11545 Rockville Pike. It will continue its review of proposed options to make 10 CFR 50.59 (procedures for licensees to make certain changes to their facilities, and conduct tests and experiments without prior NRC approval) risk-informed.
Other aspects of the meeting, including an opportunity for public comment, will be described in a forthcoming edition of the Federal Register.
