NOTE TO EDITORS:
A subcommittee of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) has scheduled a meeting December 11-12 in Rockville, Maryland.
The meeting, which will be open to public observation, will begin each day at 8:30 a.m. in Room T-2B3, of the NRC's Two White Flint North Building at 11545 Rockville Pike. The Subcommittee on Thermal-Hydraulic and Severe Accident Phenomena will continue its review of the results of the Westinghouse Test and Analysis Program being conducted in support of the AP600 design certification, including the Westinghouse WGOTHIC code for its application to the passive containment system safety analysis
Other aspects of the meeting, including an opportunity for public comment, will be described in a Notice of Meeting published in a forthcoming edition of the Federal Register.
