ON DEMONSTRATING COMPLIANCE WITH CLEANUP CRITERIA
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will conduct a public workshop November 13 and 14 in Rockville, Maryland, to discuss methods for demonstrating compliance with NRC's radiological criteria for license termination.
The workshop will be held in the NRC auditorium at Two White Flint North, 11545 Rockville Pike, from 1:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. on November 13 and from 9:00 a.m. until about 5:00 p.m. on November 14.
It will include presentations by invited speakers from the Department of Energy national laboratories and other federal agencies, and a concluding panel discussion. The information presented and discussions during the workshop will be considered by the NRC staff in the development of an NRC regulatory guide working paper on "Demonstrating Compliance with the Radiological Criteria for License Termination."
