ON RISK-INFORMED PIPING INSPECTION
Workshop sessions will begin at 8 a.m. daily at the Bethesda Marriott Hotel, 5151 Pooks Hill Road.
Documents to be discussed at the workshop are a draft regulatory guide and a draft standard review plan for the use of licensees who want to utilize "risk-informed" inspections of nuclear power plant piping. With this approach, licensees would give priority to inspecting piping segments with a relatively higher safety significance.
