NOTE TO EDITORS:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with officials of Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) on Monday morning, June 9, to discuss the NRC's Restart Assessment Team inspection for Salem unit 2. PSE&G also will make a presentation on its readiness to restart the unit.

The meeting, which is open to the public for observation only, will begin at 9:00 a.m., in the Access Processing Center at the site.
