NOTE TO EDITORS:
A subcommittee of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards has scheduled a technical meeting April 15 and 16 in Rockville, Maryland.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 1:00 p.m. April 15, and 8:30 a.m. April 16, in Room 2B3 of the NRC's Two White Flint North building at 11545 Rockville Pike. Discussions of the Subcommittee on Materials and Metallurgy will include generic letters regarding steam generator tube inspection techniques, effective use of ultrasonic testing techniques in inservice inspection programs, degradation of steam generator internals, and degradation of reactor vessel head penetrations.
Other aspects of the meeting, including an opportunity for public comment, are described in a Notice of Meeting published in the April 4 edition of the Federal Register.
