AT PRAIRIE ISLAND NUCLEAR POWER STATION
Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials in Lisle, Illinois, have announced the assignment of Paul Krohn as the agency's Resident Inspector at the Prairie Island Nuclear Power Station in Red Wing, Minnesota.
Krohn joined the NRC as a reactor engineer at the Region III Office in October of last year. Prior to joining the NRC, he worked for Lockheed Martin Inc. as a nondestructive testing development engineer at Knolls Atomic Nuclear Power Laboratory in New York. He also was a shift supervisor and nuclear plant engineer for General Electric at a U.S. Naval Nuclear Submarine Prototype Power Plant. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer. He received a bachelor's degree in marine engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. Krohn and his wife, son and daughter plan to reside near the Prairie Island station in Red Wing.
