Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials in Lisle, Illinois, have announced the assignment of Jeffrey Clark as the agency's Resident Inspector at the Perry Nuclear Power Station in Perry, Ohio.
Clark joined the NRC in March of this year under the agency's Resident Development Program. Most recently, he had been an engineering project manger for Baltimore Gas and Electric Company. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer. He also served on submarines in the nuclear power program of the U.S. Navy. He received a bachelor's degree in technology and management from the University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering technology from Thomas Edison State College. He also has a master's degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Clark and his wife and two children plan to reside near the Perry plant in Lake County.
