NOTE TO EDITORS:

The Nuclear Safety Research Committee will hold its next meeting on April 3-4 in Rockville, Maryland.

The committee provides advice to the Director of the NRC's Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research. The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 9:00 a.m. each day in Room 10A1 of the NRC's Two White Flint North building at 11545 Rockville Pike. Discussions will include technical reports from several subcommittees of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safety with senior NRC staff.

Other aspects of the meeting, including an opportunity for public comment, are described in a Notice of Meeting published in the March 21 edition of the Federal Register.
