The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with the Northeast Utilities on Wednesday afternoon, April 30, to discuss NU's operational readiness to restart Millstone Station, in Waterford, Ct. The meeting, which is open to the public for observation, will be held at 1 p.m. in the Millstone Simulator and Training Facility at the site.

The NRC staff also will meet with the public to discuss the status of NRC activities at Millstone Station. The staff also will accept comments on Sargent and Lundy's audit plans for the Independent Corrective Action Verification Program at Units 1 and 3. Copies of the plans are available at the Waterford Public Library. The meeting, which begins at 7 p.m., will be held in the Waterford Town Hall, at 15 Rope Ferry Road.
