NRC SCHEDULES MEETING IN ATLANTA WITH FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT

TO DISCUSS RECENT PERFORMANCE OF ST. LUCIE PLANT

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has scheduled a public meeting with Florida Power & Light officials to discuss the status of recent St. Lucie plant performance. The meeting will be Thursday, March 27, at 1:00 p.m. in the NRC's Region II office, 101 Marietta Street, Suite 2900, Atlanta.

Reporters and photographers are welcome to attend, along with members of the public, for purposes of observation. NRC officials will be available to meet with reporters at the conclusion of the meeting to answer questions related to the discussion.
