Participating in this week's working group discussions are these officials:

FRANCE -- Andre-Claude Lacoste, Director, Directorate for the Safety of Nuclear Installations.

GERMANY -- G. Hennenhofer, Director General for Nuclear Safety, Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety.

JAPAN -- Yasumasa Togo, Chairman, Nuclear Safety Commission; and Tomihiro Taniguchi, Deputy Director General, Ministry of International Trade and Industry.

SPAIN -- Dr. Juan Manuel Kindelan, President, Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear.

UNITED KINGDOM -- Dr. Sam A. Harbison, Director, HM Chief Inspector of Nuclear Installations, Health and Safety Executive, Nuclear Safety Directorate.

A statement will be issued Friday at the conclusion of the meeting. Reporters interested in speaking with Chairman Jackson afterwards are asked to telephone the NRC Office of Public Affairs.
