Feeds

InciWeb provides dynamic feed options for all incidents. Dynamic feeds allow the end user to monitor news, announcements, and mapping information from a national level all the way down to an individual forest. InciWeb offers RSS 2.0 feeds and Google Earth Network feeds. Below you will find additional information on both feeds and links to national data. More granular links can be found throughout InciWeb.

RSS Feeds

Requirements: RSS Reader

RSS feeds are available for news and announcements and incident summary information. Accessing feeds can be done by clicking the link next to the RSS icon on any page. The resulting feed will only include information for the level currently being viewed. For instance, clicking the "News and Announcements" feed while viewing incidents for the state of Idaho will result in a feed that monitors news and announcements for just the state of Idaho. To monitor incident information nation-wide you can use the links below.

Google Earth Feeds

Requirements: Google Earth

InciWeb provides data files that can be used with Google Earth. The map data displays points of origin for incidents, incident summary information, and in some cases perimeter data. The data is provided via a "Network Link" feed that is automatically updated as data is entered into InciWeb.

Accessing Google Earth data can be done by clicking the link next to the Google Earth icon on any page. The information in the in the feed will be for that level only. For instance, clicking the Google Earth Feed link while viewing incidents for the San Bernardino National Forest will result in a network link that only monitors incidents for the San Bernardino National Forest. To monitor incident information nation-wide you can use the link below.
