Description:

This 4in.x6in. magnet is part of the Back to Sleep campaign, an effort to educate families and caregivers about putting healthy babies on their backs to sleep, to help reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). In 2000, the NICHD and its partners in Back to Sleep worked with national African American organizations to design materials and messages about SIDS for African American families and communities, including this magnet. This magnet lists ways parents and caregivers can reduce the risks of SIDS.
