Dot Plots
Dot plots are most commonly used when the analysis involves two fluorescent parameters. Each dot represents a single cell.
Statistics in dots plots can be obtained by using quadrants.
Statistics can also be obtained by using individual gates.
A variety of other statistical information can be obtained from gated populations of cells, such as median, geometric mean, Coefficient of Variation (CV) and Standard Deviation (SD). Data Presentation

Histograms are a common way to view the flow cytometric data. Histograms are single parameter plots with the horizontal axis representing the fluorescent parameter and the vertical axis representing the number of cells.
Histograms can be gated to show statistics of the positive population of cells for a given fluorescent parameter.
