Contains bibliographic records for energy and energy-related STI (scientific and technical information) from the Deptartment of Energy (DOE) and its predecessor agencies, the Energy Research & Development Administration (ERDA) and the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). Covers disciplines of interest to DOE such as chemistry, physics, materials science, environmental science, geology, engineering, mathematics, climatology, oceanography, computer science and related disciplines. It includes citations to report literature, conference papers, journal articles, books, dissertations, and patents. The public version provides access to publicly available citations from 1948 through the present. The DOE and Contractors version, now called Science Research Connection, includes all information in the public version as well as information acquired from other government agencies, professional societies, and through international agreements. 2.3 million records as of March 2008.
