The government market is large and growing. The federal government alone is the largest consumer of supplies and services in the world! And with small business preferences, no other industry provides more opportunity for small business than federal contracting.

This primer gives you an overview of Government Contracting, the opportunties for small business, how to get started and where to get assistance.

The Maine Procurement Technical Assistance Center is a cooperative program of Eastern Maine Development Corporation and the Defense Logistics Agency with support from the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development and other state and community stakeholders.
