2008 WALK UPDATES

2008 CONFERENCE UPDATE

The 10th national hydrocephalus conference June 19-22 in Park City, Utah, was a great success.  The theme "It's About Life" proved inspirational as we had hoped.  Boozle the Hydro Bear, a cuddly teaching tool to demonstrate shunt surgery, made its public debut at the conference to great acclaim.  Click on the link above to see photos and listen to the presentations and interviews that Boozle liked best.

We hope that the information you find here, and the contacts you establish, will be of help.

Our mission is to provide support, education, and advocacy to people whose lives have been touched by hydrocephalus and to the professionals who help them.

We believe in the importance of community—empowering people with knowledge and keeping professionals aware of community concerns and frontier research. We're committed to providing a broad range of services to a broad range of people—members and non-members, children and adults, patients and professionals.

Please explore the information available on our site, and take advantage of the many other services the Hydrocephalus Association offers—from informational brochures to opportunities for community involvement.
