The Program Support Staff provides environmental, engineering, architectural, and appraisal support for all Rural Development funded construction projects. Technical support includes consultation, advice, review, oversight, and approval of:
preliminary engineering/architectural reports environmental reports and assessments
agreements for professional services NEPA documents
bidding procedures mitigation measures
drawings and specifications biological assessments
contract documents archaeological surveys
construction change orders
construction pay draws
handicapped accessibility
building rehabilitation
appraisal review
construction monitoring activities
