The NIEHS East Campus is located at 79 T.W. Alexander Drive, Bldg 4401, Research Triangle Park, NC USA 27709. Park in the rear of the building and enter at the sign that says Lobby I. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and the Security Officer can direct you to the office you need.
From the NIEHS Main Campus - Rall Building:
As you leave the NIEHS main campus through the main entrance, turn right onto T.W. Alexander Drive. Go through three stoplights, staying on T.W. Alexander Drive. Continue on T.W. Alexander Drive, crossing over I-40 on an overpass. After the overpass, continue to the third driveway on your right.
From Raleigh, Cary, and RDU Airport using I-40 West:
Stay to your left on I-40 West where the Durham Freeway splits off on the right. Just after that split, take Exit 279A and follow the exit until it stops at a traffic light at a dead-end on T.W. Alexander Drive. Turn right at the light onto T.W. Alexander Drive. Go through the next stoplight (which is at the intersection of Highway 54 and T.W. Alexander Drive), staying on T.W. Alexander Drive. Continue on T.W. Alexander Drive, crossing over I-40 on an overpass. After the overpass, continue to the third driveway on your right.
From Durham on the Durham Freeway (NC Highway 147):
Take the Freeway south all the way to the end. Where I-40 to Chapel Hill branches off to the right, take that branch and then keep to the left. Stay on that road to the stoplight at a dead-end on T.W. Alexander Drive. Turn right at the light onto T.W. Alexander Drive. Go through the next stoplight (which is at the intersection of Highway 54 and T.W. Alexander Drive), staying on T.W. Alexander Drive. Continue on T.W. Alexander Drive, crossing over I-40 on an overpass. After the overpass, continue to the third driveway on your right.
From Chapel Hill on I-40 East:
Take the exit for Alexander Drive. It is the first exit after the 55/54 exit and right before the exit to the Durham Freeway. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and go to where the road ends at the stoplight for T.W. Alexander Drive. Turn right at the light onto T.W. Alexander Drive. Go through the next stoplight (which is at the intersection of Highway 54). Continue on T.W. Alexander Drive, crossing over I-40 on an overpass. After the overpass, continue to the third driveway on your right.
Nottingham Hall - Directions and Parking
Nottingham Hall is located at 4505 Emperor Boulevard, Durham, NC USA 27703. NIEHS offices are on the 2nd floor of that building. Please check in with NIEHS Security upon arrival. There is ample parking in the lot adjacent to Nottingham Hall.
From the NIEHS Main Campus - Rall Building:
As you leave the NIEHS main campus through the main entrance, turn right onto T.W. Alexander Drive. Go through the first stoplight at the EPA campus entrance and at the second stoplight, turn right onto the Durham Freeway North, and then exit onto I-40 East. From I-40 East, take the Page Road exit down to the stop light. At the light, go straight through onto Emperor Drive. This is the Imperial Center. Drive through the next light and turn right at Nottingham Hall.
From Raleigh, Cary, or RDU Airport using I-40 West:
From I-40 West, take the Page Road exit (#282). Turn right onto Page Road. At the next stop light, turn left onto Emperor Drive. This is the Imperial Center. Drive through the next light and turn right at Nottingham Hall.
From Durham on the Durham Freeway (NC Highway 147):
Take the Durham Freeway (NC 147) south to merge onto I-40 East. After merging onto I-40, take the Page Road exit down to the stop light. At the light, go straight through onto Emperor Drive. This is the Imperial Center. Drive through the next light and turn right at Nottingham Hall.
From Chapel Hill using I-40 East:
From I-40 East, take the Page Road exit down to the stop light. At the light, go straight through onto Emperor Drive. This is the Imperial Center. Drive through the next light and turn right at Nottingham Hall.
