HURR_1997		1997 Atlantic and Northeastern Pacific Hurricanes Slide Set. Twenty-four slides of 12 Western Hemisphere hurricanes that occurred between July 5 and November 19, 1997. Hurricane Linda, included in this slide set, is estimated to be the strongest huricane on record in the eastern North Pacific.
HURR_1997		1997 Northwest Pacific Typhoons Slide Set. Fourty-two slides of 21 Northwest Pacific storms of typhoon strength that occurred between April 11 and December 21, 1997.
HURR_1997		1997 Indian Ocean and Southwestern Pacific Cyclones Slide Set. Fourty slides of 20 storms of severe cyclone strength in the Indian and Southwest Pacific Ocean that occurred between January 2, 1997 and January 1, 1998.
HURR_1996		1996 Indian Ocean and South West Pacific Cyclones Slide Set. Forty-four slides show each of the 22 typhoon-class cyclones in thermal infrared and visible wavelengths. Only one of these cyclones occurred north of the equator.
HURR_1996		North Atlantic and Northeast Pacific Hurricanes of 1996 Slide Set. Twenty-six slides show each of the 13 hurricanes in thermal infrared and visible wavelengths. Five storms occurred in the Northeast Pacific and eight in the North Atlantic.
HURR_1996		Northwest Pacific Typhoons of 1996 Slide Set. Forty-two slides show each of the 21 typhoons in thermal infrared and visible wavelengths. The most intense tropical storm of the year, Super Typhoon Dale is included in this set.
HURR_1996		The Most Intense Tropical Storms of 1996 Poster. The 14 most intense tropical storms from the 1996 calendar year are shown with thermal infrared imagery from the DMSP Operational Linescan System. Each image is accompanied by the vital statistics of the storm, including maximum wind speed, date and time of the image, latitude and longitude of the eye, and duration of the storm. The roster of most intense tropical storms includes 7 typhoons, 5 cyclones, and 2 hurricanes.
USA_NIGHT		Nighttime Lights of the USA Poster. This image of the US nighttime lights was derived from cloud free portions of 231 orbits of DMSP OLS data. The majority of the detected features are lights from cities and towns.
HURR_1995		1995 Atlantic Hurricanes Poster. This 2'x3' poster reproduces images for all eleven hurricanes at their maximum intensity. Each image is accompanied by text detailing vital statistics of each hurricane, including maximum wind speed, minimum pressure, and estimated property damage.
HURR_1995		1995 Hurricanes Slide Set. A set of 22 slides showing 1995 season hurricanes, The most active hurricane season since 1933. The satellite's unique point of view allows study of the structure, magnitude and location of storms. Each slide displays a storm in either visible or infrared wavelengths. The name of the storm and the time of image are printed on the slide. Captions in an attached information booklet describe the magnitude and path of each storm.

AUR_AUS		Auroras Australis (Southern Lights) Slide Set. Unique set of 20 spectacular slides taken by David Miller from Kangaroo Island in southern Australia showing the southern lights (aurora australis) during disturbed geomagnetic times - similar in nature to the northern lights (aurora borealis). These wonderful displays are in full color and show the breathtaking colors and form of aurorae framed against background stars and landscapes.
AUR_DMSP		Auroras and Other Lights Viewed from Space: Unique Black and White 35-mm Slides of the Aurora. a set of 52 slides illustrating auroral variability and other nocturnal lights viewed from space. Each frame was prepared with no retouching from an extensive 35mm archive of satellite auroral imagery--nighttime images taken between 1973 and 1977 by DMSP satellites. Both Northern and Southern Hemisphere auroras are included. No photography from the ground rivals these striking satellite views of the aurora's distribution; no photography from the ground reveals as clearly, with patterns of city lights, the aurora's geographic position. Each slide has a caption that identifies the date and time, the auroral feature, the geographic area covered, and the level of auroral and magnetic activity.
ZUR_SS		Zurich Sunspot Slide Set: Educational Slide Set - Sunspots and Related Solar Phenomena. A set of 7 slides illustrating different sunspot related phenomena. All slides have captions. The slide set includes data plots such as plotted annual mean sunspot numbers, clearly showing the sunspot cycle's rise and fall about every 11.1 years, plots of sunspots, solar flares, aa indices, and total solar irradiance. The set also includes historical photographs of Johann Rudolph Wolf and the Swiss Federal Observatory, 1905.
SOLAR_VAR		Solar Variability Affecting Earth CD-ROM Set. This CD-ROM contains over 100 solar-terrestrial and related global data bases covering the period through April 1990. Types of data include solar flare reports, sunspot numbers and region histories, total solar irradiance and solar bursts. Some samples of available data are digital geomagnetic hourly values, magnetic activity indices, cosmic ray observations, solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field values, lists of magnetic storms, and ionospheric and geomagnetic model programs. Custom retrieval software to display the data and complete user's manual are included with the CD set. Over 650 megabytes of data are on the compact disk. Updated data to present is available from our FTP site.
IONO_IDD		Ionospheric Digital Database, Worldwide Vertical Incidence Parameters CD-ROM Dataset. The CDs contain 40,000 station months (1350 megabytes) of digitized vertical incidence parameters from 130 sites around the world. These data have been contributed through a major effort among the World Data Centers and many ionosonde network organizations. This package includes the CD dataset package of hourly worldwide vertical incidence data, the IDD access and display software and a printed User Documentation Manual.
GOES_SEM		GOES Space Environment Monitor Data on CD-ROM. Seven years of key space environment parameters on your desk top! This CD-ROM and the accompanying software tools provide instant access to data that are an excellent resource for studying solar activity and the effects in near-earth space, including magnetic storms, solar flares, and solar particle events.
HA_FLARES		Flares in Hydrogen Alpha CD-ROM. A "write-once" CD-ROM written in standard ASCII text files containing solar flare records grouped by year from ground based observations. Data include reports (1938-present), events (1955-present), patrol (1955-present), and indices (1955-1980).
COS_RAYS		Neutron Monitor Data CD-ROM. A "write-once" CD-ROM written in ASCII text files containing cosmic ray data from neutron monitors operating in many parts of the world with data going back to 1953. Much of this data is available on-line without charge via our SPIDR server.
SOL_REG		Regions of Solar Activity CD-ROM. A "write-once" CD-ROM written in standard ASCII text files containing records of Ca plage regions and sunspot groups. Records are grouped by year and by station. Plage observations are from Big Bear (1981-1987), Hale (1979-1981), McMath (1942-1979), AGD Table (1969-1982), and Indices (1970-1987). Sunspot observations are from Catania (1978-1987), Greenwich (1874-1982), Mt Wilson 1962-1991), Rome (1958-1989), and US Air Force (1981-1991).
SOL_RADIO		Solar Radio Bursts CD-ROM. A "write-once" CD-ROM written in standard ASCII text files containing solar emissions recorded since 1960 at ground observation stations, available on this CD at discrete and sweep frequencies.
SOL_BULLETIN		Solar Indices Bulletin is a prompt monthly information product that is distributed within two weeks after the observation month closes. This 2-page circular tabulates daily values of sunspot numbers and 10.7 cm solar radio flux observed at Penticton. Flux measurements at eight other wavelengths are included.
GEOMAG_BULLETIN		Geomagnetic Indices Bulletin is a prompt monthly information publication that is distributed within two weeks after final geomagnetic indices are received for the observational month. For each month this 2-page circular tabulates the three hour Kp, daily Ap, Cp, An, As, Am indicies and provisional aa index.
SGD_REPORTS		Solar-Geophysical Data Reports is a monthly bulletin issued in two parts that provides the scientific community with a variety of solar-terrestrial data and is intended to keep researchers informed on a timely schedule of the major events on the sun and of their associated interplanetary, ionospheric, geomagnetic and cosmic ray effects.
