New Customer Information
Welcome to the Federal Investment Program. Here you'll find resources to familiarize yourself with the program and begin investing. The steps you can expect in the approval process are:
- You will first receive approval to invest from the U.S. Treasury. This will include a review of your Fund's legislative investment authority by Treasury Counsel, and final signature approval by the Director, Office of Fiscal Projections.
- When the approval and account setup processes are completed, you can process your first investment by filling out the Investment/Redemption Request Form and faxing it to 304-480-5212.
- You can begin subsequent transactions using FedInvest.
While You Await Approval
- Contact the Financial Management Service (FMS) at (202) 874-9950 to set up an account fund symbol (AFS) with the U.S. Treasury.
- Complete the following forms:
