Notes:
1) The 2006 and 2007 funding for Federal Highway Administration – Federal-Aid Highways was less than $500,000.
2) The 2006 and 2007 funding for Federal Aviation Administration – Research, Engineering, and Development was less than $500,000.
3) Federal Transit Administration - Research and University Research Centers is FTA's support for DOT's Center for Climate Change. This program has
been provided funding in the past; however, it was not reported because funding has been less than $500,000.
4) Activities in the Federal Aviation Administration – Research, Engineering, and Development account have been included under CCRI in past. Due to
changes in CCSP/CCRI activities and priorities and changes within DOT, these activities are no longer considered part of CCRI.

 

Mapping of Budget Request to Appropriations Legislation. Since 2000, the Department's climate change research has been funded by contributions from eight of DOT's operating administrations and the Office of the Secretary.
