North Arm Cabin in Nuka Bay

Three rustic public use cabins, Aialik, Holgate, and North Arm, are available on the Kenai Fjords Coast during the summer months (from late May through mid-September).

Willow cabin at Exit Glacier, is available once Exit Glacier road is snow covered in late fall through approximately early April.

There are no hotel accommodations in the park, but a full range of hotels, bed and breakfasts and hostels are available in Seward and the surrounding area. Visit the Seward Chamber of Commerce for more information.
Black bear  

Did You Know?
Biologists in Kenai Fjords are trying to learn 'how close is too close?' By approaching black bears on foot and by boat, researchers are able to observe at what distance bears are disturbed by humans. Preliminary results indicate that a distance of 100 meters or more is generally tolerated by bears.
