  The "Learn" section presents USGS program information, a message from the USGS Director, quotes about why USGS students like their jobs, information on USGS jobs and qualifications, a photo library showing employees at work, and an interactive map of office locations.
• Benefit From Student Programs
  The "Benefit" section includes frequently asked questions by students on applying for a position and employment, information on salaries, benefits, and types of student positions available with the USGS.
• Market Your Skills
  The "Market" section includes helpful instructions on applying for a USGS student or federal job, information on how to respond to KASOCS, and techniques for successful interviewing. This section also includes information on career fairs USGS representatives will be attending, and tips for how to prepare for a career fair.
• Apply for Student Jobs
  The "Apply" section provides active USGS student employment vacancies and an online resume for students to apply to these vacancies. Student resumes will be received and processed electronically and responses to managers and applicants will be sent via electronic mail. This section also includes places to look for other opportunities within the Federal Government.
