FY-2005 FRPP Easement Information

The following three maps display information on Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) easements which obligated fiscal year 2005 FRPP funds.

This voluntary program helps farmers and ranchers keep their land in agriculture. The program provides matching funds to State, Tribal, or local governments and non-governmental organizations with existing farmland protection programs to purchase conservation easements. All FRPP easements are permanent easements. In FY-2005, NRCS allocated more than $110 million to include more than 507 easements in the program, protecting nearly 86,209 acres. Click on each map's data link for detail information.
