DANTES has approximately 80 agreements with nationally recognized certification and licensure associations. These agreements allow DANTES Test Sites to administer the majority of their certification and licensure exams, providing convenience and accessibility to Service members. Benefits to Service members: Credentialing (certification and/or licensure) documents a person’s level of competency and achievement in a particular area. Credentials provide the equivalent of a “professional badge”. Military personnel may already have the experience and knowledge required to gain certification in their occupational specialty, and may have no problem passing the exam to earn certification or a license in a profession.
