Epilign

This page is no longer maintained. You will be redirected to the QuickAlign tool page.

Purpose: Epilign generates an alignment of your amino acid sequence against our ready-made alignments.

Details: This tool can be used to align epitopes, functional domains, or any protein region of interest. An analogous tool, PrimAlign, performs the same function for nucleotide sequences.

Input should consist of a single amino acid sequence. For cases where alignment of C-terminal residues is critical, Epilign offers an option to delete gaps from the alignment; see Epilign Explanation.
