SOFTWARE TYPE:
Fire Incident Mapping Tool (FIMT) is an extension for ArcGIS ArcMap version 9.x.

 

PURPOSE:
The intent of this software is to be a supportive tool in the assistance in the creation and management of geographic data and to produce maps for the specific reason of supporting Wildland Fire Incidents. This software fully complies with the Incident Command System (ICS); the GIS Standard Operating Procedures (GSTOP), and the GIS Specialist (GISS) position duties.

System Administration privilege is needed to install and uninstall this software. Further information can be found in the Release Notice below.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This software has been extensively tested and has been found to be safe to install and use on Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows XP.

XY Domain Update
For versions 1.83, 9.0.3, 9.0.5.1 there is a file that assists in setting up the spatial domain for the geodatabase when created. Over the years, there have been a lot of new projections provided in the software. This download provides instructions and new file to update the lookup file.
