About EMSL

An independent Science Advisory Committee provides objective advice on long-term science direction to the EMSL Director related to topics such as:

The Science Advisory Committee comprises distinguished scientists from academia, national laboratories, and research institutions across the United States who provide expertise in EMSL's major capability areas of biology, environmental science, molecular science, and theory. The committee reports to the Director, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Responsibilities and activities of the Science Advisory Committee include:
