The Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare Network Upstate New York has a requirement for the services of a New York State Psychologist to perform Law Enforcement Annual Psychological Assessments for incumbents, Psychological Assessments and Testing for new hires and Fitness for Duty on as needed basis for Police Officers in VISN 2 Medical Centers located in Albany, NY; Syracuse, NY; Canandaigua, NY; Rochester, NY; Bath, NY; Buffalo, NY and Batavia, NY. All providers must be physically located with-in a 4 hour drive from any facility listed above and have experience in Forensic Psychology providing these assessments to other Law Enforcement Agencies. The contract is anticipated to start on October 1, 2008 and will be for a Base Year and 4 Option Years. The solicitation will be posted on or about August 26, 2008 and is a small business set-aside. A determination to set this aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business or Veteran Owned business will be based on replies to this Pre-Solicitation.
