Information specialists are available from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Time to advise you on the availability of BLS data, publications, and information services. Staff economists also assist customers with technical questions regarding survey terms and definitions, and with the interpretation and application of BLS data. A 24 hour recorded message service containing the latest all items indexes and percent changes for the U.S., Midwest, and Chicago areas. The message also provides the issue date for the next monthly release.

Other Information Services The regional office reference library is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our collection includes all BLS Bulletins from 1884 to present, the Monthly Labor Review from 1913 to present, all BLS Reports, recent BLS news releases and summaries, and all BLS periodicals.
