wildland fire equipment and services from GSA Global Supply as well
as GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contractors.
All of the
items in GSA's Wildland Fire Equipment Catalog may be found on this
site. These items are identified with a National Stock Number (NSN)
and also bear a National Fire Equipment System (NFES) designation.
Searches can be performed on the NSN or NFES for your convenience.
Your requisition of NSN items, regardless of quantity ordered, is
compliant with the FAR and does not require comparison of multiple
sources.
Searches can also be performed on products and
services offered directly from GSA contractors under the Multiple
Award Schedule program. Your procurement of Schedule items is
governed by the FAR and must comply with those regulations.
What does  represent?
The National Fire Equipment System (NFES) was created to
provide standards for fire supplies and equipment. Each of the GSA
Global Supply NSNs listed in this aisle exhibit the NFES Symbol and
NFES number. Clicking on "NFES/NSN Quick Order" will access all NSNs
which can then be sorted by NSN, NFES number or product name.
