The National Rosacea Society is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the lives of people with rosacea by raising awareness on this widespread but little-known disorder. The Society provides information to help rosacea patients better understand their disorder and more effectively manage its signs and symptoms. The organization also administers a research grants program to encourage and support scientific investigation into the potential causes and other key aspects of rosacea that may lead to improvements in its treatment and potential prevention or cure.
The National Rosacea Society publishes a quarterly newsletter, Rosacea Review, which provides rosacea patients with information pertaining to the disease and its control as well as tips on managing its signs and symptoms. Other patient education materials include Coping with Rosacea, a booklet with tips on lifestyle management to avoid factors that may aggravate rosacea; and Rosacea Diary, a booklet containing diary pages to help patients identify and avoid their personal rosacea triggers.
