Description

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) and the Office of Rare Diseases (ORD), created the Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Center to help people find useful information, in English or Spanish, about genetic and rare diseases. You can speak with an information specialist Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time. You can write to GARD anytime via e-mail, letter, or fax. Bilingual information specialists are available to respond to inquiries in Spanish. All information requests are completely confidential.
