Description

The Center for Quality was established in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) with the mission to strengthen and improve the quality of health care, especially as it relates to HRSA programs and service populations. The Center for Quality (CQ) operates co-jointly with the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The Center conducts five primary functions: 1) coordinates quality activities; 2) advises on medical and public health policy; 3) fosters and supports research; 4) promotes public health programs; and 5) supports professional excellence.
