Description
Founded in 1929 , this nonprofit, nonadvocacy, educational organization works with both public and private sector partners to increase the amount, accuracy and usefulness of information concerning changes in population and the impact those changes may have. The Bureau seeks to achieve these goals through research and policy analysis; the production of publications for policymakers, university and secondary school educators, journalists, and many other nontechnical audiences; media outreach programs; the provision of technical support to government institutions and private organizations; and education programs for primary and secondary school teachers.
