Description

The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), founded in 1922, is the largest medical laboratory organization representing the entire medical laboratory team--pathologists, medical technologists, and all other medical laboratory professionals. As the primary provider of continuing education for pathologists and other medical laboratory personnel, the ASCP enhances the quality of the profession through comprehensive educational programs and materials. Annually, more than 500 workshops and seminars are conducted for medical laboratory personnel in addition to other educational programs including teleconferences, self-study exercises and skills assessment tests.

Print Resources

The ASCP Press is a full-scale medical publisher of textbooks, reference manuals, slide atlases, audiovisual materials, and computer software. The Society also publishes two journals, The American Journal of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and a monthly membership newsletter.
