Description

Birth Defect Research for Children provides information and support to families of children with birth defects. BDRC sponsors research on birth defects caused by exposures to environmental agents--drugs, chemicals, radiation, and other agents. BDRC sponsors a National Birth Defects Registry, which contains demographic data and medical histories from families of children with birth defects and matches families of children with similar disabilities. BDRC answers inquiries from parents and health professionals on topics such as drug use during pregnancy and the care and rehabilitation of birth defects in children. Donations from the public, members, and foundations support BDRC.
