Description

The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) was formed in 1975 to serve as the professional organization for EMTs, paramedics, instructors, and administrators. Services and activities include exchange of information among State affiliate associations and members, conferences and workshops, continuing education programs, awards and grants, professional placement, government and public relations programs, insurance packages, accreditation of paramedic education programs, and consumer product discounts.

Print Resources

The NAEMT publishes career information pamphlets and NAEMT News. Serial publications: NAEMT News--case reviews, current events, meeting notices, book reviews, equipment evaluation, and NAEMT and State chapter news.
