Fieldale Apartments

Bishopville, South Carolina

 

 

Fieldale Apartments, located in Bishopville, South Carolina, was built by Fieldale Housing, LLC with a $838,000 loan from USDA Rural Development, HOME funds of $400,000 and Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority as well as loan and grant funds from Federal Home Loan Bank Atlanta.  In addition, Rental Assistance is to be provided through Rural Development.  Total development cost for the project was $2,497,572.

 Fieldale is a new 30 unit family duplex.  The property consists of (6) one-bedroom, (16) two-bedroom and (4) three-bedroom units.  The monthly rent will be based on the tenant’s household income.  The amenities include range, washer dryer hook-up, frost free refrigerator, energy efficient windows, laundry facility, playground, ceiling fans, energy efficient heat pump and a community room.

 USDA Rural Development State Director Tee Miller said, “Rural Development is committed to the future of rural communities. This is a good example of putting government dollars to work to establish safe, affordable housing for the residents of South Carolina.  We are pleased to partner with Fieldale Housing Limited Liability Company and GEM Management in providing quality housing for the citizens of Bishopville.”
