King County Mental Health Plan:
A guide to public mental health services in King County

The King County Mental Health Plan provides comprehensive services for eligible residents of King County. The plan including crisis services, outpatient treatment, inpatient services, involuntary hospitalization, and residential services.

Crisis services are also available to all King County citizens 24 hours of every day through the 24-hour crisis line at 206-461-3222 or 1-866-4-CRISIS.

Mental Health Plan services are provided at local community mental health agencies located throughout King County. Eligibility for Mental Health Plan services is determined at an intake interview with one of these agencies. A list of providers is available on line. If you need help choosing a provider you may call the Mental Health Plan toll free at 1-800-790-8049.
