Description: In addition to a very extensive list of geography and geographic names sources (both world-wide and arranged by country name), this list provides links to Internet resources from a broad-based array of topics covering area studies, arts, humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. The resources are especially helpful to subject specialists who are setting up thesauri and subject terminology. This resource list is compiled and maintained under the auspices of the subject authority component (SACO), LC Program for Cooperative Cataloging.
